All or nothing was the name of the game in the World Cup qualifier for the Austrians in the away game against Wales. Therefore, of course, one set off in the direction of Cardiff to support our team and bring in a new ground.
The first few days were used to look at the Welsh countryside closer in the context of some excursions. On the match day was still a trip to Caerhphilly Castle on the program, before one then went to the match preparation on the High Street.
In the first half, a lively game developed and the Austrians were able to keep up well and also had one or two chances. Unfortunately, they could not take advantage of any of them, but Wales was not really dangerous either. Especially because you could neutralize Gareth Bale well.While Austria still tried everything, but it was no longer enough for a goal. Thus, they lost the game and thus have to do without the World Cup participation in 2018. Somewhat contrite one started the way towards the city. Ground hopping is more fun when you're not emotionally attached to the losing team ;-)
