RB Leipzig : 1. FC Nürnberg

After we did not get tickets for the Saxon derby Chemnitz against Dresden, which took place the day before, Leipzig was our first stop. Since for the journey from Dresden enough time was available, we visited in advance still the Völkerschlachts-Denkmal. In time, one arrived at the stadium and since one had traveled directlywith the car, we set ourselves on a complex parking lot search. But the parking situation in Leipzig is very well regulated. Both before and after the game there was no problem with traffic. So wurdeschnell found a parking space and made their way to the stadium. We then had to pick up our tickets at the appropriate counter, as it was not possible to send the tickets abroad. The Red Bull Arena is located in the grass wall of the old LeipzigZentralstadion. The fact that the main building of the old central stadium has been preserved may appeal to nostalgics, but since the stadium is not really recognizable behind it, it makes a purely outdated impression. Because of the attachment to Red Bull prevailsin Germany a somewhat tense relationship with RB Leipzig. But the fans from the region don't seem to care. Many Leipzigers go together with child and cone covered with fan articles into the stadium to support their club.Also the fan sector can be seen and stood the guest fans from Nurembergum nothing inferior. These were but also numerous from Franconia arrived andsorgten thus overall for a good atmosphere in the stadium.
