Birmingham City was the last game of our England tour this year, but at the same time the first game for the new president Carson Yeung from Hong Kong. And he let himself be celebrated. A lap of honor already before the start of the game - accompanied by numerous camera teams - and a cheering crowd provided us but for some merriment.
Zuvor was us anyway not to laugh to mute. Since the tap system had failed, one got instead of a pint only a "Seiterl" - but for the same price. Which would actually be a joke, but then there's also a white line in the stadium beyond which you're not allowed to go with the beer. You can imagine how crowded it gets when everyone heads for the beer stand, but no one is allowed out of the area. Some quite clever people have thought that out...
As far as the game is concerned, the new president apparently brought the club luck, because a 2:1 home victory could be celebrated. After the obligatory self-timer photo went then again off home.
