Ticket
Our little Bayern tip led us first to Munich, where we wanted to watch the little Bayern derby 1860 München : Greuther Fürth. Our hotel was right next to an S-Bahn station, which made it easier to get to the stadium. When we boarded the train, we were directly surrounded by the entire Fürth away mob, which almost made it impossible for us to continue on our way to the stadium alone (i.e. without the police) at the station, because they thought we belonged to them too ;-)
At the stadium, we bought a standing-room ticket, which was assigned to a seating sector in the stadium. It must be that way in order to have cheaper tickets - it should be fine with us in any case ;-)
The Allianz-Arena resembles a huge car tyre and doesn't trigger any visual enthusiasm in me. But it could also be because FC Bayern also plays here... Visually, the stadium is not much to look at, but the infrastructure in the stadium is great. The food is fast and tasty, and the scoreboard is still easy to see from the other end of the stadium. The connection to the local transport network of Munich also has the advantage that you don't have to travel by car, which makes everyone happy ;-)
The game was at a good second league level and developed into a battle. Until 1:0 it was a fairly even affair. But after the subsequent red card for Fürth, 1860 gained the upper hand. After going up 2:0, it was actually a clear affair. Just before the end, Fürth scored again to make it exciting - but 1860 scored the final point with the 3:1.
After the game, we visited a street party in the city centre where we enjoyed a few beers from a private brewery whose name I have since forgotten. Afterwards we wanted to go to a pub next to our hotel. But since our hotel was in Schwabing, we should have known better: We didn't get in - Spider Murhpy Gang sends its regards....
